Overwaitea Food Group brings new sustainably grown salmon to market

The Overwaitea Food Group (OFG) is widening the options for consumers concerned about healthy oceans and sustainable seafood. OFG recently announced it is the exclusive North American retailer to bring a new "super green" brand of sustainably grown Coho Salmon to market. Farmed on land in what OMG says is "the first commercially viable closed containment system," the salmon is now available through all of OFG's retail stores. With 124 stores in Western Canada, OFG has six store formats: Save-On-Foods; Overwaitea Foods; PriceSmart Foods; Cooper's Foods; Urban Fare and Bulkley Valley Wholesale.
