Expansion Plan at Wal-Mart CanadaWal-Mart Canada Corp., which will open its 300th store in Canada this spring, has announced plans for up to 27 new real estate projects by the end of January next year. Half of the projects will involve the building of new stores – with almost all of them classified as "supercentres" – and will sell a full range of groceries in addition to general merchandise.
