PepsiCo Names First Woman CEOIndra Nooyi will assume the top position at global beverage giant PepsiCo Inc., in October. Nooyi joined PepsiCo in 1994 and has served as its chief financial officer since 2001. Nooyi will be the first woman to lead the company. Source: Canadian Grocer E-Newsletter, August 19,2006.
