Scott Paper Gives Paper Towel New NameScotTowels is changing its name to SpongeTowels. ScotTowels is one of the best recognized product names in Canada. Scott Paper, a subsidiary of Kruger Inc. and manufacturer of new SpongeTowels, is poised to launch a massive national advertising and marketing campaign to support the product launch. The new SpongeTowel differs from the old ScotTowel with its embossed swirls—called Circles and Ovals—which make it stronger and more absorbent.
