Strong Q1 for Connor BrosToronto-based fish processor Connor Bros. Income Fund said its first-quarter profit jumped 75% to US$12 million, from US$6.9 million a year ago, surpassing its expectations. The fund, which indirectly owns Clover Leaf Seafoods and Bumble Bee Foods, also said its revenues for the first quarter ending April 1, increased to US$244.1 million from US$211.7 million.
