Key deliverables / outputs necessary to achieve Job Purpose
*Establish and maintain a partnership with the retail sales team and customer buyer teams to develop strategic plans for effective management of shelf space.
*Provide primary contact for the retailer category managers and assistants.
·Integrate available syndicated data and information into all reviews and/or presentations where applicable.
·Utilize and understand ACNielsen, Apollo plan-o-gram software, and customer specific POS data
·Contribute to category management presentations for senior leadership
·Monthly category review with buyers, presented independently
·Provide weekly performance reviews with BDM partners – promo results, distribution voids, gap closure
·Build tools and models as needed
·Lead annual process for POGs and Retail Sales Binder
·Participate in cross-functional brand teams bringing monthly insight to major program and innovation sales decks

| Requirements: |
·University graduate - Economics or Business program
·Category Management experience preferred
·1-2yrs CPG industry experience
·Analytical Thinking – structured approach to decision making
·Effective Communication – speaking effectively, listening to others, strong written communication
·Collaborative –ability to influence in a team environment
·Power user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
·Familiarity with Microsoft Access an asset
·Familiarity with ACNielsen Work Station Plus an asset
·Analytical Thinking – analyze and solve problems, innovate, make sound decisions
·Proficiency with ACNielsen Data (Markettrack, Homescan, Modelling, Spectra)
·Experience with planogram software (Spaceman, Intactix, and/or Apollo).
