Description: Reporting to the Vice President of Sales this individual must effectively represent our company to the Key Accounts in a professional manner that promotes the aggressive growth of our products within the mandate of our company sales and marketing plans. In addition building strong broker and customer relationships are required.


Key Responsibilities:
· Achieve sales objectives as per the Key Account and Channel path · Professional management of company equipment and materials · Respect brand equity and the policies and procedures of the company · The NAM must be fully accountable for all facets of his/her business with the designated accounts
· The NAM will be held responsible for activities in his/her accounts and therefore must take a full accountability


Role: Key Account Manager
· Develop a mutually profitable relationship between our company, Acosta and Key Accounts including Loblaw’s (LCL), Walmart, SDM, HBC and Sobey's · Influence growth in our categories through a focused decision making process
· Respond and manage customer issues ongoing. Provide candid feedback and recommendations on the Key Account issues in order to maximize effectiveness and efficiency · Develop a Business Plan specific to the individual Key Account ensuring that it is on strategy with our company and marketing plans · Provide direction to Company Mangers and brokers to effectively execute the Business Plans at retail · Promote Marketing initiatives (new products, P.O.S., category reviews, etc.) to fully maximize the accounts potential · Develop and present effective presentations as they relate to our products - category reviews utilizing all available tools.












Requirements: Hard Skill Requirements:
· A minimum of five years experience in the Packaged Goods Industry · Appreciation of the E.C.R. process and an understand of Category Management · Proven track record of success in account management with a focus on fact based and opportunity selling · Experience in sourcing and analyzing market level and account data for use in internal and external presentations · Computer Proficiency, Retail Link, Zellers, Workstation Plus, Word, Excel, and Power Point · A self-starter with an ability to work both independently and as a team member
· Strong organizational skills
· Good communication skills, both oral and written Soft Skills: Individual Characteristics
· Well developed strategic thinking skills · Results oriented with a sense of urgency · High level of critical thinking and problem solving · Strong advocate of continued improvement and life-long learning · Capacity and desire to assume more significant responsibilities over time · Clear, consistent and reliable communicator · Comfortable in a fast paced dynamic environment · Flexible and can handle change in a positive fashion · Conscientious and integrity, social responsibility and respect
